About
We write MCAT practice from scratch.
528 Lab is a small team of test-prep writers and engineers. We make free, original MCAT practice and tools, and we show our work.
Original, not recycled
Every passage and question is written for 528 Lab. CARS passages are new essays, so nobody has read them before. Before publishing, we check our text against the web for overlap with existing prep materials.
Honest numbers
No invented statistics, no inflated predictions. Scores come with a range, and the method is published.
Explanations that teach
Every answer choice gets a reason, including why the wrong ones are wrong, because that is where most of the learning is.
Built with students
The full-length is free during the beta. Ratings and question reports from people taking it decide what we fix and write next.
